Please Help us Keep Due West Healthy!
The single most important thing we can do to keep germs from spreading and getting sick is to wash our hands. Washing our hands just once a day isn’t enough if you want to keep harmful bacteria away. Hands always need to be washed after using the restroom, after coughing into hands or blowing nose, and before eating. It is also important to keep our fingers and hands away from our eyes, nose and mouth.
Because germs hide out in the cracks and folds of your skin, be sure to pay special attention to those areas by getting up a good lather and scrubbing for at least 15 seconds To help you remember, you can sing the happy birthday song twice.
Following these simple steps will help keep Due West feeling our best!:
- Wet your hands with warm running water.
- Add soap, and then rub your hands together, making a soapy lather. Do this away from the running water for at least 15 seconds, being careful not to wash the lather away. Wash the front and back of your hands, as well as between your fingers and under your nails.
- Rinse your hands well under warm running water.
- Pat hands dry with a paper towel.
- Turn off water using same paper towel and throw it way in the trash.
