I try very hard to monitor the outbreak and minimize the spread of illnesses and diseases at school.  Parents and staff can help me in this effort by encouraging the following good hygiene habits:

  • Washing hands before and after eating, and after using the bathroom.
  • Coughing and sneezing into the elbow (instead of the hand)
  • Not sharing food
  • Keeping hands and fingers away from eyes, nose and mouth
  • Not sharing combs, hats, hair bows, etc.

By encouraging and reinforcing good “germ etiquette”, together we can help reduce missed school days for our children and their teachers.
